SMALL WORKS Exhibit through December 20th

Find wonderful small art to give to friends and family. These small-scale originals, no more than 80 Square Inches, make art accessible for first-time buyers and seasoned collectors alike.

Perfectly sized for collecting and giving.

Classes, Workshops, Open Studios, More classes coming in 2026

Open Painting - Tuesdays 9am-noon, Broadway Flats Studio, 210 S. Center Street, Greenfield, All welcome. Artists bring your projects, work enjoy and exchange ideas.

Figure Drawing - Live Model Tuesdays, 6pm-8pm, Circle of Care Inc, 312 East Main St. Greenfield, Parking available. Enter Door # 1.

All welcome. Artists bring your supplies/easels. $5.00 fee which goes to the model.

Figure drawing will always help you improve as an artist.

Whether you’re practicing quick gestures or more detailed figures, time in the figure room is an artist’s best friend. You'll be drawing the human form in any of its various shapes and postures using your drawing media.

Festival of the Trees Visit and Vote for your favorite until Dec. 20

As you drive by, you will see Santa siting in our window and all the trees glowing each night.

Stop in to view the specially decorated Christmas trees from some of Hancock County's businesses and non-profit organizations during the Festival of Trees.

Vote for your favorite decorations, and the winner will receive a monetary award to celebrate the season of giving.

Hancock County Children's Choir

Their Christmas celebration is December 5th and 6th.

Get ready to celebrate the season with You Need a Little Christmas!

Cold Snap

Surrender is in the air,

oak leaves brown as leather

points sharp as the wind

that stabs them into the ground.

The tulip tree shivers off

its silhouettes of tulips,

symmetrical,

yellow as summer squash.

Leaves of sugar maple

all red hearts,

weather’s losing hand

slapped down in disgust,

winter breathing hard

down its neck.

Harold Schaefer has a B.A. degree in Fine Arts and English from I.U. His poems have appeared in "Keeping the Flame Alive", "Flying Island", "Indiana Writes" and other publications. His poetry can also be found in the Indiana Poetry Archive. He lives in Greenfield, Indiana.

February - Love Incorporated – Artist Reception - February 13th

Intake January 26 and 27, 3p – 6p. All media, processes, subjects, themes, and aesthetics will be presented in this showcase of artists who will present their inspirations from the theme “the value of love” – love of thy community or nation, love of our fellow humans, caring for those in need, personal love interests, or inspired by doing what you love. March - All Hancock Student Exhibit – Artist Reception - March 13th

Intake March 2 and 3, 3p – 6p. Showcasing a diverse range of artwork and media, this exhibit captures the imaginative perspectives of our young, creative students, reflecting their personal experiences, emotions, and developing artistic skills. We celebrate the growth and potential of emerging artists, offering a glimpse into the future of the art world. On view: March 5 – 28

April - Spring Exhibition – Artist Reception - April 10th

Intake March 30 and 31, 3p – 6p. All media, processes, subjects, themes, and aesthetics will be presented in this showcase of artists who will share their current works from their studio practices. On view: April 2 – 25
