Dear Arts Patron,

In our 27th year, we remain dedicated to promoting and celebrating all the arts. We continue to operate our gallery, share exhibits, offer classes and reach out to the community through the efforts of our all-volunteer board and others who donate their time, talent and treasure. We would greatly benefit from a paid director, so we’d appreciate any help you can offer as we take baby steps to achieve that goal.

Hancock County is home to a wonderful performing arts center, restaurants that feature live music, and events such as Second Friday, the Will Vawter Juried Art Exhibition and Sale, the Riley Days Festival, the annual September Sidewalk Chalkfest, August Art War and a July Pennsy Trail Art and Music Festival. There are activities at Depot Park. And Greenfield Parks and Recreation is home to many art classes and meetings for the Wood Carvers.
Hancock County Arts has played a vital part in this flourishing arts environment and we are looking forward to many more exciting arts activities in the future. This year our Plein Air will high-light North Eastern Hancock County with registration in Shirley, at the Community Shelter House.

We have passionate volunteers, and passion is essential. The funds are important too and that is where you come in.

Board members are grateful for support from members, donors, corporate sponsors and (of course) volunteers. As 2026 proceeds, we hope you will share your enthusiasm through an annual membership of $35, $100, $250, $500 or more. We are grateful if you have already joined us for the year. If you are on track to renew, would you consider raising your membership level? As a non-profit agency, we carry 501(c)(3) status. Regardless of your means, we encourage you to promote Hancock County Arts through your networks. Awareness is important to achieving quality of place, where all facets of county culture blend to make our community inviting.

As we move forward, we need your membership support, not only for the monetary value which helps us increase the programming offered, but also because of the need for an active membership to help promote and work with the various events and programs offered.
