Pastel Art, Colored Pencils, Charcoal and Crayons as an Interactive Display

This is an opportunity for us to bring awareness to the specialized art medium using pastels, colored pencils, crayons and charcoal. This art is executed with fragile, finger size sticks called pastels. The powdered pigments create art that is truly glowing. If you’ve never tried using pastels, this is your time to try. Stop in any Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday and help us finish the artwork on our walls. When you visit us for the Second Friday Artist Reception on September 8th, don’t be surprised to see fun chalk art on our walls! You can add to it, copy or create your own, take it with you.
