Joy will be filling the gallery with her fun and creative art pieces for a limited time only. The exhibit will be

open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 11 AM to 2 PM.

Artist reception on Friday, July 22nd - 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Stop by the gallery, meet the artist and maybe

Joy Carter

Joy Carter, born and raised in Indiana, has been drawing or painting her entire life. Joy draws

inspiration from her daydreams and the constant yearning to bring beauty to her life and the

lives of others.

At age 9 she sold her first painting/mixed media artwork, later attending Herron School of Art

Indianapolis.

Joy started face and body painting in 2006. With most of her work being event related, COVID

brought it to an abrupt halt. But when a door closes, a window opens and in 2020 she started

painting murals and working on some smaller paintings in her home studio. Joy works mainly

with acrylic and oil paint on canvas and is currently accepting commissions for fall of 2022.
