About the Event

PLUS:

 Life Drawing Sessions – Weekly on Tuesdays; Scheduled to begin October 21, 6-8pm;

first three weeks will be held at the Meals on Wheels of Hancock County, 312 E Main

Street, Ste C. Final location and dates TBD due to gallery schedule.

 Daniel’s Vineyard’s Scarecrow Showdown 2025 – Fall’s Premier Fundraising Event – vote

for Hancock County Art’s Van Gogh Scarecrow so that we may earn donations and the

“Best Of Award”

Key Dates & Celebrations

 Launch Party: October 10th, 7–10 PM

o Kickoff celebration with live music, drinks, and the start of community voting.

o Each organization will receive 10 complimentary wristbands for the evening. If you

need additional tickets, please email Jessica Pontius.

 Voting Period: October 10th–30th

 Winner Announced: October 30th at the Announcement Party (6–8 PM)

Voting Process

 Online Paid Voting: Patrons can purchase votes directly on our website. 100% of

funds will go back to your non-profit.

 In-Person Free Voting: Each scarecrow will have a photo and voting box in our

tasting room, where guests can cast free token votes.

The non-profit with the most votes will receive bragging rights and a donation from

Daniel’s Vineyard!


 Festival of the Jack-o-Lanterns 2025 – October 25-31, 6:30 – 9:30pm Volunteers needed.

Carved pumpkin entries fill the inside of the Riley Gardens behind the James Whitcomb

Riley Boyhood Home and Museum.

 Christmas parade and lights in downtown Greenfield, December 5th


Gallery:

 Second Friday Receptions, October 10 and November 14, 6:30 - 8:30pm - Please attend

to support the artists; hoping to add a literary and performance component to these

gatherings.


 Festival of the Trees on display in the gallery – November/December; help needed with

setup and gallery sitting


 Artisan Shoppe in the gallery– November/December; help needed with setup and

gallery sitting


 Gallery sitting every month from 11-2 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday each week;

additional hours during the Christmas season
