About the Event
Artist Reception - August 14.
Are you inspired by the form, history, or competitive opportunities of the bicycle culture? Do you have stories to tell of learning to ride or a bicycle adventure? The bicycle, or some of its mechanical parts, will be explored using traditional or contemporary media and aesthetics to celebrate the bicycle and the joy, challenges, and philosophical depths of cycling. Submissions can range from the most traditional to the most conceptual, abstract, or experimental, including those which push the boundaries and transform individual bicycle parts into new art creations and objects.
