Join us and see more places that make Hancock County unique. This is The Octagon House where the grounds are ready for artists. We are painting Eastern Hancock County. Our juried plein air paint-out is planned on the Vawter show intake day. Meet us in Shirley!

Registration
8:30-10:30 AM, gather at the Shirley Friends Church (101 S. Main Street, Shirley, IN). Have your paper/canvas stamped; enjoy refreshments; review times and grab one of our Goodie Bags and Map. Welcome to create at DRW Farms, The Octagon House and the Shirley Downtown District, and other areas around the area.
Pre-register, Adults and Teens, prior to May 24, $5.00 discount
All ages 12 and under, free
2:00 PM, return to the Shirley Friends Church for lunch and to be eligible for judging. Our lunch is sponsored by Leo’s Market and Eatery.
AWARDS BY AGE GROUP:
Adults: $200 and $100;
Ages 13-18: $75,
Ages 12 and under: $40.
Artists are invited to sell wet works painted at this event.
Artists are invited to display their works on Friday evening, June 12, at the Will Vawter Awards Presentation.
Your art will then be placed for display from June 17 through July 24, at Thrive, Community Foundation of Hancock County, 971 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN.
Any unsold artwork must be picked up on July 25 between 5-7pm at our HCA gallery, 20A N. State Street, Greenfield.
