A "Pause for Words"
A Magical Memory
After a day of adulting, I step out
of my car into the cool, brisk air,
neighbors have their Christmas trees
already up. I glance at the heavens,
the multitude of stars are stunning,
with their sparkles and winks.
At once I am that six-year-old child
searching for Santa and his reindeer,
their sleigh gliding among twinkling stars,
a time I believed everything was possible.

At the Gallery
January 2024
Four Members - Together, Talented with an Exciting Exhibit
Greg Gearlds, Michelle Kimberlin, Scott Lenon and Qing Shue
Greg Gearlds is an Indiana based artist who's paintings, photographic art and clayworks are all inspired by the simple idea of, "What if..." https://www.greggearlds.com/.
Michelle Kimberlin is an Indiana artist and the owner of Hancock County Creations Art Studio. She paints and teaches: dividing her time between Yoga and Art, individual classes and creating exciting group art parties.
Scott Lenon is an Indiana-based wood carver who specializes in masks of traditional Japanese drama (Noh). Each Noh mask is hand carved from a single block of basswood. Scott then uses gofun, nikawa, natural earth pigments, sumi ink, and copper metal to finalize the masks. It takes Scott between 200-400 hours to complete one mask. Noh masks can represent age, gender, animal, demon or divine along with emotion and expression.
Qing Shue is an Indiana artist, born in Shenyang, China. I have loved painting, ever since I was very young. When I was younger, I would sit for long periods of time drawing or painting. sometimes up to 6 hours or more. Going to an art school had always been my dream. Unfortunately, my family expected me to to into engineering school.
