Yes, once again, Hancock County Arts has won the competition for

Central Indiana's most talented artists participating.

A Must See

This exhibit is at 20A N. State Street Gallery in Greenfield, IN., through July 8th, 2023.

Our Gallery is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 A until 2 P. And on Saturdays enjoy visiting from 11 A until 5 P.

Judge's Awards

Kjell Wangensteen, Associate Curator of European Art at Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields, was our juror. He chose these additional six awards, presenting each with a check for $100 and a certificate of recognition. Kjell spoke of the pleasure it was to see the talent presented at the Will Vawter Juried exhibit.

Two Merit Awards were also granted for these works:

Honorable Mention with a Merit Award Donna Shortt – A Royal Ending


Honorable Mention with a Merit Award Dianna Porter – Horn of Plenty


In addition, the participating artists voted for an Artist's Choice Award. The favored piece of artwork, voted on by their peers, went to Dianna Porter – Rosy Glow.


Dianna said it was truly an honor to be chosen.

When you visit. you will see an original Will Vawter painting titled,

"Oaks of Autumn", on loan from David Spencer collection.
